NUR 2003C Career Mobility Nursing Concepts

Introduces the student to child, maternal health and adult client care needs: safe effective care environment, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, physiological integrity, professional behaviors, communication, clinical decision-making, caring interventions, teaching and learning collaboration, and managing care activities which form the integrated framework for clinical practice. Introduces the student to develop knowledge and skills with concepts such as: therapeutic environment, therapeutic communication, and therapeutic relationships. The student will encompass legal and ethical issues of the nurse, including Florida Statues and the concept of professional boundaries.
