PTN 1017 Pharmacy Technician Math

Provides a comprehensive overview of math concepts essential to the practice of the pharmacy technician's skill set. Covers the systems of weight, measurement and temperature, and the conversion from one system to another. Other topics include fractions, decimals, ratios, proportions, percentages and allegations. Emphasis on the math skills needed to calculate doses, drug quantity or volume, intravenous flow rates, and percentage concentrations.
