The Marjan Mazza Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Management, Human Resources Management Concentration degree program provides access to the student who already has skills in a technical area and wishes to advance to higher level supervisory and management positions within business, industry, and governmental organizations. The upper-level coursework will broaden the student’s knowledge in applied management practices and will prepare the student for supervisory and management opportunities within his or her chosen field. The preferred associate degree pathway is the Associate in Science in Business Administration. Each student is strongly encouraged to consult an advisor or counselor prior to course registration.
Degree Requirements
General education courses (36 cc)
Baccalaureate students must complete the 36 credit hours general education curriculum. Prior to entry into the upper division, a student must complete, with a grade of C or higher, ENC1101C, ENC1102, and 6 semester hours of additional coursework designated as writing emphasis. In addition, a student must complete 6 semester hours of mathematics coursework, with a grade of C or higher, at the level of College Algebra or above.
Each baccalaureate student must meet the foreign language and civic literacy requirements as defined in the general education section of this College Catalog.
Lower level degree requirements
Students must complete an additional 21 credit hours in courses in the lower division (1000 and 2000 level) with prefixes of ACG, ACO, BUL, CGS, COM, ENT, FIN, GEB, MAN, MAR, MKA, MNA, OST, OR PLA.
