HSC 1590 AIDS/OSHA for Health Professionals

A study of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and OSHA standards for bloodborne pathogens, domestic violence education, and medical errors for the health professional. Meets requirements for OSHA standards for universal precautions, PPE, microbiological practices, Hepatitis B vaccination, post exposure evaluation/follow-up, and hazard communication in working with bloodborne pathogens.
