Medical Assisting Career Certificate (MEDAS-VC)
The Career Certificate in Medical Assisting prepares the medical assistant student who is competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. This 1300 clock hour program incorporates a combination of theoretical, simulation, and hands-on instruction. Each student is strongly encouraged to consult an advisor or counselor prior to course registration.
