BME 550 Physiology for Biomedical Engineers
Physiology of the nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal systems. Emphasizes understanding of the function of the human body as integrated systems through an engineering lens. Includes discussion of human-made changes to the body. Laboratory experiments will be used to demonstrate key physiologic aspects of the human body. Knowledge of biology and basic physiology recommended. Fee: $50
