This is the third of a three-semester sequence for students with some background in Chinese. The course will continue to build basic language skills in Mandarin, although oral proficiency and character recognition are emphasized. By the end of this sequence, students will be able to identify components of other cultural perspectives and value other worldviews in comparison to their own.

This lab is required concurrently with CHN 101 and emphasizes oral proficiency in authentic cultural contexts.
