CPTR 350 Computer Architecture

Study of the organization and architecture of computer systems with emphasis on the classical von Neumann architecture. Topics include computer performance, instruction sets, computer arithmetic, processor datapath and control, memory management, storage and I/O, and multiprocessing. Project work required. Prerequisites: CPTR 215, ENGR 354.
