FILM 416 Teaching with Film Literature

An upper-division application of Introduction to Film Literature, FILM 215, aimed at providing teachers and teacher candidates with an understanding of film art that will enhance the use of film in the classroom. Students attend FILM 215 lectures and engage in classroom activities; in addition, they develop a teaching unit involving a film. Applies toward the English major with an emphasis in secondary teaching. Credit will not be allowed for both FILM 215 and FILM 416. (Course fees apply.)
