Language Minors
Students may minor in the following languages through Adventist Colleges Abroad affiliate programs (ACA): Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. For French and Spanish minors, the introductory sequence is available on the WWU campus.
Note: Without prior language experience, students should plan to spend an entire school year in residence at the ACA school to develop proficiency in the chosen language.

Electives: Must be taken in a single foreign language beyond the first elementary level course, or from COMM 145 and COMM 325. At least 16 credits must be taken abroad, typically through ACA. Students are encouraged to check the articulations assessments available at wallawalla.edu/adventist-colleges-abroad to determine what courses at each ACA school will apply toward WWU requirements/electives.
