DENA 1030 Preventive Dentistry (1-2-2)

This course provides students with theory and clinical experience in the area of preventive and public health dentistry. Topics include etiology of dental disease, patient education techniques, plaque control techniques, types and use of fluoride, diet analysis for caries control, and dietary considerations for the dental patient. Student must pay a $75 supply fee when registering for this course.
