Library Services
The library supports the mission of the College by teaching traditional and digital information literacy and providing access to a variety of resources and quality services for students, faculty, and staff in a culture of intellectual freedom. There are libraries on each of the Athens Technical College campuses, as well as online via the library website.
The Athens Tech library:
- Engages on-campus and distance learners
- Teaches essential research and information literacy skills to support the curriculum and lifelong learning
- Provides access to quality resources through GALILEO, O.W.L. (your library discovery tool), and the library website. For off-campus access, students log in with their ATC email and password.
- Extends access to resources beyond the collection with free interlibrary loan and Techshare, a service which allows ATC patrons to borrow books from other TCSG libraries.
Resources and services provided include:
- Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff
- Online library guides for programs and courses
- Anatomy models for in-library study
- Laptops for in-library use
