HHP 216 B.A.M.-Bodies Always in Motion
Prerequisite: HLT 100 (Formerly PEH 100) or permission of instructor

Bodies Always in Motion is a movement class that will provide a variety of movement experiences in, beside or behind a chair. Some free standing and floor movement experiences will also be included. Hand weights, kettle balls, elastic bands, balance equipment, and various other pieces of equipment will compliment movement activities. Students will improve their flexibility, strength, and balance. Chair Pilates and Chair Yoga will also be introduced. Students will gain an appreciation for the exercise value of simple, slow movements done in a chair. 1/4 Course Credit
