MUSC-239 Music and Sound Creation II

A continuation of Music and Sound Creation I, in this course, students will continue to build experience in the use of computer-based tools along with music and sound creation techniques to create projects for specific situations. Projects will be both individual and collaborative. Advanced topics in creativity will be discussed and students will be required to research advanced creation techniques. Students will begin to create music and sound files that can be used to start a professional portfolio. The two-semester sequence will culminate in a capstone project created by the student in collaboration with the instructor and fellow students.
