This curriculum is designed as a guide to students planning to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in theatre. Students are advised to check the requirements of the institution to which they intend to transfer. The main emphasis in the theatre area of study is the creation of an artistic point of view on the part of the student.
General Education Core
Students enrolled in transfer patterns must take a minimum of 30 credits in General Education. Each student’s total of general education and required courses must equal at least 60 semester hours of credit.
English Composition
Arts & Humanities
The Arts & Humanities requirement may alternatively be fulfilled by completing a World Language Sequence plus THET-103. Students who complete a World Language Sequence are not required to complete the 3 credits of open Core Electives.

A graduate should be able to

- 4. Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to diversity in the cultures, races, religions, politics, and socio-economic environments of the world we live in by contextualizing the human experience through the lens of theatre.
