Course Objectives

1. Identify and explain professional workplace expectations, ethical standards, and accountability practices in trades and manufacturing environments.
2. Apply effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills to collaborate productively in diverse, team-based workplace settings.
3. Apply problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management strategies to address common workplace challenges.
4. Analyze and evaluate workplace behaviors and scenarios to support safe practices, regulatory compliance, and effective conflict resolution.
5. Create and present professional career materials, including a resume and interview responses, as part of a capstone experience demonstrating workplace readiness and digital competency.
6. Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and personal accountability through effective decision-making, conflict resolution, and self-management.
