IIT 21400 Introduction to Networks

This course provides the student with the vocabulary and concepts of networking needed for working and communicating in a network-centric world. The course summarizes the elements of a network, architecture of the internet, network security essentials, trends in networking and other topics. In addition, it discusses network topologies and introduces the student to diagramming software. Lab fee required.
