Competencies
Students must obtain an 80 or better on all course and lab competency components of a course. Failure to attain the required 80 or better in a competency assessment will necessitate that the student repeat this competency in order to progress in the curriculum. Failure to attain the required 80 or better during the remedial competency will result in a Notification of Concern (See Appendix D) and the student will be reviewed by the Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures. The Committee may require remedial action, may place the student on probation, or may recommend dismissal to the program faculty for repeated poor performance.
