10.1 Professional Communication
Respectful interactions with faculty, students, staff, fieldwork supervisors, and affiliates of the GC program and the IHP are expected in all modes of communication, including electronic communication.
10.1.1 Desire2Learn (D2L)
All department announcements will be posted to the student class D2L course, which can be identified as “Genetic Counseling - Class of 20XX.” Each cohort has their own D2L course. It is the responsibility of the student to familiarize themselves with D2L and insure that they receive all department announcements in a timely manner.
10.1.2. Town Hall Meetings
Town Hall meetings are an opportunity for the community to gather to hear updates and announcements, as well as provide a public forum for students to ask questions and provide feedback to the program and/or department. Town Hall meetings are scheduled as needed.
