4.2.3 Role of the Academic Advisor
The role of the Academic Advisor throughout the review process is that of advocate for the student. The advisor will:
- serve on the review committee
- attend all meetings
- discuss the concerns of the faculty with the student
- assist the student in preparations for the meeting with the committee
- summarize in writing the issues and other relevant information discussed in the meeting
- file all paperwork
- monitor compliance with the committee’s recommendations
