NP 861C Adlt/Gero Prim Care Practicum

Prerequisites: NP-701 NP-801 NP-861B. Pass/Fail and audit option not available. In this final clinical practicum for the Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program, the student demonstrates competency for entry to practice. Consistent with the theory course, students will appraise evidence in the evaluation and management of wellness, acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.   Under the supervision of a preceptor, students will lead equitable advanced practice nursing care of diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems.
