Program Academic Performance and Expectations
The Occupational Therapy Department Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures (CAPP) is concerned with student growth and development in knowledge, skills, and attitudes across the curriculum. Students may be referred to CAPP in instances when students or groups of students fail to meet program standards regarding academic performance or professional behavior, if expectations related to a corrective action are not met, and / or when Notifications of Concern are issued (See Section on Professional Behavior Actions). Written notifications from the Committee to students may comprise oral and written warnings, educative letters, and follow-up documentation of resolved concerns/requirements.
