1.2 Our Program
The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BSHS) program was developed to provide a flexible and rigorous pathway for students seeking to complete a bachelor's degree while preparing for careers and further education in health-related fields. Building upon a longstanding commitment to innovative health professions education, the program is designed to support transfer students, working professionals, and learners with diverse educational backgrounds. The program combines foundational coursework in the health sciences with opportunities to explore healthcare systems, interprofessional practice, health equity, and career development.

Program Outcomes
Graduates of the Bachelor of Health Sciences program will:
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of health sciences, healthcare systems, and human biology.
- Explain how biological, social, environmental, and behavioral factors influence health and well-being.
- Apply scientific and health-related concepts to the analysis of health issues and healthcare challenges.
