3.1 Program of Study
The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BSHS) is a bachelor’s degree completion program designed for individuals who have completed at least 45 college credits but have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree. The program offers multiple pathways that allow students to build upon their prior coursework while preparing for a variety of careers and graduate-level programs in the health professions.
Students' individual plans of study will vary based on previously completed coursework, transfer credit awarded, selected concentration, and professional goals. All general education requirements must be completed prior to matriculation into the BSHS program.
The BSHS program offers the following concentrations:
- Audiology
- Genetic Counseling
- Healthcare Management
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Physician Assistant Studies
- Speech-Language Pathology
Students declare a concentration at the time of application. Students may change their concentration after matriculation and are encouraged to consult with their academic advisor to understand the academic implications and available options before making a change.
