4.7 Planning for Professional Programs
Many students in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BSHS) program intend to pursue admission to graduate or professional programs at Mass General Brigham University or other institutions. Admission to professional programs is competitive, and completion of the BSHS degree and/or prerequisite coursework does not guarantee admission to any graduate or professional program.
Students are responsible for researching the admission requirements of the programs to which they intend to apply and for confirming prerequisite coursework, minimum academic standards, application deadlines, and any additional admission requirements directly with those programs. While academic advisors can provide general guidance, each student is ultimately responsible for ensuring that they meet the requirements of their intended professional program.
