Management Information Systems, B.S.

This program, currently offered in an online and on-campus blended format, is designed for practitioners in information technology who are seeking the skills and perspectives needed to move into supervisory and management positions. Students gain experience necessary to develop and manage information technology solutions and systems that meet the evolving demands of an organization.  

Students applying to the B.S. Management Information Systems program are subject to the Undergraduate Admission Requirements. 

Program Details:

  • Requires 180 QH, including 60 QH of General Education, for completion
  • Requires a minimum of 75 QH of previous undergraduate coursework to enroll in the Management Information System major requirements 
  • A maximum of 60 QH of technical credit may be transferred
  • Credit for Prior Learning is accepted for general education, elective credit and as determined appropriate by the faculty, toward program major requirements 
  • Students may complete a minor or concentration, listed below
