BDA 506 Big Data Management and Databases
This course introduces students to relational database concepts, data warehousing, data management, the rise of big data, data mining, and modeling tools. Students will be exposed to various applicable systems and data analysis tools, enabling them to effectively manage and apply actionable strategic insight and decisions garnered from data. Prerequisite(s): BDA500, RES510, and BDA502; or permission of Program Chair or designate. Co-requisite(s): None. 3 semester hours
