Bi 514 Ornithology
Study of the evolution, diversity, ecology, physiology, and behavior of birds. Two 2-hour lectures and one 3-hour laboratory. The laboratory emphasizes species identification and exposes students to techniques used in museum and field studies. Students are required to conduct a research project outside of scheduled laboratory time. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Bi 414 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Bi 387.
