ESM 418 Landscape Ecology
Examines the structure, function, and change of natural and human-modified communities at the scale between individual communities and regional biomes. Focuses on spatial patterns and processes as they relate to the patch mosaic of inter- acting ecological communities. Expected preparation: Geog 313 or Bi 357. Upper-division standing required. Also offered for graduate-level credit as ESM 518; this course is the same as Geog 418/518 and may be taken only once for credit.
