CMFC 6090 Comprehensive Examination
This exam provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their ability to integrate and apply the theory and skills acquired in their course work. It is given during the student’s last semester of enrollment prior to graduation. The exam contains both a standardized multiple choice exam and an essay section that requires students to address issues related to integrating their faith into their clinical work in both secular and non-secular settings. Questions cover the area of specialization as indicated on the student’s degree plan and in this catalog. The policies and procedures for the administration and scoring of the comprehensive examination for each specialization are available through the Director of the Graduate Counseling Program. The comprehensive exam may only be retaken once. Exam fee is required.
