CCST 4110 Religion and Public Life Capstone

The Religion and Public Life Capstone examines the complicated intersection between religion and American culture from historical, theological, and sociological perspectives. Students in this course will analyze issues such as civil religion, Christian nationalism, Christianity and justice, religious demographics, religion and politics, and theories of the common good.

CCST 4190 Senior Capstone

Through readings, research and writing, Christian studies students complete their university learning experience. The course emphasizes the formulation of theoretical, ethical and practical perspectives in the students’ chosen areas of Christian study and vocational service. Students also prepare for and take assessment examinations and complete program evaluations during the course. This is a Writing Emphasis course.
