CIS 440 Computer Security
Survey of the tools and practices used to secure information both on a computer system and traveling over a computer network. Students will discuss security standards, write and implement security policies, design secure systems, describe and utilize both secret and public key cryptography, find vulnerabilities in code, configure intrusion detection and prevention solutions, and conduct basic digital forensic investigations.
