SPAN 307 Survey of Spanish and Latin American Literature

A study of selected contemporary texts and movements. The course emphasizes communicative skills of learning, reading, speaking, and writing within a social and cultural context, using such themes as personal identity; the family, the individual, and society; and social classes in the Hispanic world. The course also seeks to develop further proficiency in literary analysis and criticism. Offered even years.
