RELB 345 Biblical Narratives

The Bible is considered the primary rule for faith and practice within Christianity. However, many narratives within the Bible appear strange and seem to make little practical sense, or worse, paint a picture of God that is disturbing. Explores some of the "weirdest" narratives in the Bible in a way that helps students learn good interpretive principles, gain cultural understandings, obtain insights into practical Christian living, and see how even the weirdest tale is still "God-breathed" and "useful" (1 Tim.3:16-17)
