Failed Courses
Nursing students may not receive more than two non-passing grade (as defined in the University catalog grading scale). On receipt of the second, non-passing grade the student will be dismissed. An Unsuccessfully completed course may only be repeated once (with the exception of NURS 493).
Dental Hygiene students may repeat no more than two failed general education courses. Each failed course may be repeated only once. Furthermore, no courses within the Dental Hygiene core curriculum (DHYG courses) may be repeated (see Dental Hygiene Program Grade Requirements section of the catalog).
A student may receive financial aid even when repeating a previous unsuccessfully completed course.
