CFS 475 Tchg Pract-Indiscipl ECE(EDS)

Prerequisite: Completion of all required major and education courses for IECE program AND Admission to Student Teaching

Students in the Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education program will spend 12-14 weeks in various approved birth through kindergarten settings under the joint guidance of supervising teachers and the early childhood education faculty of the Child and Family Studies Program. Students will develop and implement learning environments and educational experiences for multi-ability and multi-age children and their families in home-based, center-based, and school programs. All students will attend weekly one-hour seminars. By the end of the teaching practicum, students will have completed all TEP Written Assessment requirements. 3 Course Credits
