REL 110 Religion and the Arts

An introduction to ways in which religiuos experience or religions and the arts inform one another, through selected media, such as the visual arts, film, performing arts (as examples, dance or drama), literature, and music; studies may include historic or contemporary expressions and examples, investigations of religious themes (as examples, God or Sacred Reality, creation, the human condition, salvation), and theories of aesthetics.
