Division Council

The Division Council assists the Academic Vice President and Dean of the Faculty with academic long-range vision and planning (e.g., criteria for adding and eliminating majors and the allocation of tenure-track lines). The Council meets regularly with the Academic Vice President and Dean of the Faculty to discuss, identify, inform, and recommend policies and decisions. The Council also serves as a venue for sharing ideas and best practices within and across divisions, including review of self-studies. The members of the Division Council include the chair of each division, the Academic Vice President and Dean of the Faculty, the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Dean of Curriculum and Student Learning.
