ENG 330 Seminar in Language

Prerequisite: GSTR 210

This course is an in-depth study of the English language. Topics might include (but are not limited to): History of the English Language; Old English; the dialects of Middle English; historical linguistics; sociolinguistics; modern dialect study; Indo-European roots. May be repeated for credit, provided the topic differs from those previously studied.
