PHI 241 Science, Technology & Ethics

An introduction to the philosophy of science and the ethical and moral issues to which science and technology give rise. Topics to be covered may include the structure of science, the moral limits of genetic research, the use of animals (both human and non-human) in scientific research, and issues of privacy and data gathering in computing technology.
