HCC and The University of Durham, UK are uniting to provide a unique opportunity for students to undertake training in archaeological excavation and artifact interpretation at a site of international significance, located in Burgundy, France. When on-site you will be working eight hour days. ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND A THREE DAY TRAINING COURSE (9AM-12PM) THE WEEK PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. STUDENTS TAKING THE PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE CREDIT WILL EARN THREE CREDITS FOR ANTH 902 'GLOBAL ISSUES IN ARCHAEOLOGY' (HCC SOCIAL SCIENCE ELECTIVE). (July 22-August 17, 2010)
