MTH 14100 Basic Statistics

(GE-Math) This course is an introduction to the theory and applications of statistics, including probability, descriptive statistics, random variables, expected values, distribution functions, and hypothesis testing. This course may be selected to fulfill a portion of the GE-Math requirement for business students and must be completed with a grade of C or better; any student majoring in a business discipline who does not earn a grade of C or better will be required to repeat the course and earn a minimum grade of C in order to continue in the business degree program.
