ESL 09000 Speaking and Listening I

Speaking and Listening I develops spoken English for academic and social situations. The main objectives of this course are to provide students the opportunity to improve their listening and speaking skills in English as well as to gain confidence in using these skills. Students learn and practice speaking skills, receive instruction regarding problem areas in pronunciation, and develop conversational skills. Students are also required to interact with native English speakers outside of the classroom through the Conversation Partner Program.
