EDU 30999 Practicum: Analysis and Correction of Reading Disabilities

This course is required for students working towards completion of an early childhood, early childhood special education, or elementary education degree and taken concurrently with EDU 30900 or the following semester. Working with a regular classroom teacher and remedial teacher in a school setting, students will apply the testing and remediation techniques taught in EDU 30900. Practicum students are responsible for observing and working with students throughout the semester. A diagnostic report, lesson plans, and progress reports are required for each student tutored.
