PHS 33200 Environmental Health

This course examines the relationship between humans and the environment, how the relationships change over time, and what needs to be done to maintain or improve current global environment conditions. It emphasizes the interrelatedness of personal and community health and how current environmental issues directly affect our lives. In this context, environment is defined in the broadest sense to include the physical environment of air, water, soil as well as the social environment.
