REL 33500 Christianity, Ethics and Modern Society

GE-Human Culture: Religion [GE-Phl-Rel] Christianity is not only about what you believe, but also about how you behave. In this course you will study the history of Christian ethics, as well as explore how they influence our society’s debates about topics like: marriage, homosexuality, abortion, bioethics, capital punishment, just war, environmental crisis, and more.

ENGL 17000 or HIST 16200 or three credit hours of philosophy (PHL 10200 or higher) or three credit hours of religion (REL 15000 or higher) or permission of Religion department chair.
