GE-Human Culture: Arts [GE-Fine Art] This course will explore the history and development of dramatic literature in America. American playwrights and their work from 1770 to the present will be examined. This seminal heritage of uniquely American theatre forms the foundation for the eventual rise of main stream modern drama in the United States.
