OH-782 Rehabilitation Technologies for Stroke

Prerequisites: OTD Year 1, and Summer II coursework or permission of instructor.  This course will increase student knowledge and clinical decision making skills regarding the use of rehabilitation technology for the  paretic upper limb after stroke. It will complement and expand upon topics covered in OT 602 (Neuroscience), OT 603 (Movement) and OT 771 (Physical Dysfunction) by specifically addressing factors that contribute to the recovery of motor function after stroke: a significant concern for occupational therapy practice.
