HAH-620 The Healthcare Ecosystem

Prerequisite: None. This course provides an overview of the US healthcare system, including its structure and the historical, political, technological, and economic contexts from which it evolved. Leaners are introduced to the types, roles, characteristics, and incentives of key sectors and stakeholders. Learners explore challenges and opportunities regarding healthcare financing and payment, data and evaluation systems, and the social and economic implications of contemporary healthcare policies.
