iii. Reappointment and Promotion of Non-voting Faculty
In the December preceding the end of the non-voting faculty member’s appointment period, the Office of the Provost will notify the academic unit leader of upcoming non-voting faculty appointment renewals. The Office of the Provost will confirm with the academic unit leader the reappointment at current or higher rank and request the candidate’s current curriculum vitae . The provost will approve or reject it, and notify the non-voting faculty member and the academic unit leader of the decision. The length of reappointment for non-voting faculty members is based on rank and may be up to five years.
